TAMPA, Fla. – Jan. 24, 2018 — Support higher education while enjoying an evening of great food and beverages, live music, and silent and live auctions at the 8th annual Brahman Bash gala, 6:30 p.m.-11 p.m. March 3 at the University of South Florida Gibbons Alumni Center.
Brahman Bash, the USF Alumni Association’s only annual fundraising event, helps pay for programs that foster the success of the USF System, its students and alumni. The event is held at the Sam and Martha Gibbons Alumni Center on the USF Tampa campus; parking is free.
This year’s Bash, themed “A Splash of Green and Gold,” includes live music by the Matt Winter Band; beer, wine and a signature cocktail; a 50/50 prize drawing; and auctions of items including dream getaways and one-of-a-kind collectibles.
Tickets are $70 inclusive (except winning auction bids). Bulls age 35 and younger can purchase tickets for half price – $35 — through Feb. 17, and groups of 10 or more pay $65 per person.
Brahman Bash is the work of a committee of USF alumni and Association staff who plan an exciting evening of entertainment and socializing among USF supporters while raising money to benefit the university.
“Brahman Bash is one of USF’s most popular alumni events, and this year we’re pumping up the volume even more, with new additions like the Matt Winter Band,” said association board chair April Monteith. “The best thing is, guests enjoy a terrific evening with like-minded USF alumni and friends and support a great cause at the same time.
“We look forward to USF alumni, faculty and students, friends and neighbors, and everyone who loves this great university coming together.”
All proceeds from Brahman Bash 2018 go toward the Alumni Association’s mission to connect alumni and assist in the university’s success. Event sponsors include Edmonson Electric, Yuengling, Jim Harvey/Kolter Land Partners, Phil and Jean Amuso; and Mary and Dan Harper. More sponsorship opportunities are available. Sponsors receive recognition at the event.
Brahman Bash is 6:30-11 p.m. Saturday, March 3. Space is limited and tickets must be purchased in advance. For more information or to order tickets online, visit www.usfalumni.org/brahmanbash.
