TAMPA, Fla. (Jan. 23, 2017) – The University of South Florida and Revature, a leading technology talent development company, will announce details of an expanded partnership during an event Friday, Jan. 26, at 11 a.m.
This unique partnership targets tens of thousands of recent USF graduates by providing free training designed to prepare them for high-paying jobs in software engineering and cybersecurity fields. Companies in Tampa Bay are seeking highly skilled technology talent and a recently released regional competitiveness report identifies how filling this need could bring new businesses, startup ventures and jobs to the area. Speakers at the event will include USF System President Judy Genshaft, recent graduates who have completed the training and representatives from Revature and the Tampa Hillsborough Economic Development Corporation. The event will be held at Revature’s new office on the USF campus in Tampa, inside the NEC building, room 328A. The NEC building is near Bruce B. Downs Boulevard and Fletcher Avenue. Parking is available in front of the building, just southeast of the intersection. ### |
