DETAILS: The public is invited to this first-quarter gathering of the University Area CDC Partners Coalition, where attendees will learn about programs and initiatives happening in the USF area, and will enjoy complimentary breakfast and networking.
This gathering is for everyone who has an interest in improving the neighborhoods in the university area.
Presentations will include:
- Carl Harness, chief human services administrator of Hillsborough
County, will discuss the Blue Ribbon Committee - Mark Dufva, executive director of Catholic Charities, will present about the affordable housing crisis in the Tampa Bay area
- Lauren Vance, director of programs and partners for Meals on Wheels, will discuss Impact and community meals

University Area CDC provides support for thousands of Tampa residents through youth programs, adult education and resource assistance. Its primary mission is the redevelopment and sustainability of the at-risk areas surrounding University of South Florida’s Tampa campus.
