SARASOTA, Fla. (Jan. 16, 2018) – Prospective biology students can visit USF Sarasota-Manatee’s teaching labs at Mote Marine Laboratory & Aquarium, participate in experiments and learn about the college admissions process at an Open House Saturday, Jan. 20.
The free event, from 10 a.m. to noon, is open to all high school and transfer students interested in biology or considering careers in health care or scientific research. Staff, faculty and students from USFSM’s College of Science & Mathematics will be on hand to greet prospective students and answer questions. Refreshments included. The USFSM teaching labs are located at Mote Marine Laboratory, 1600 Ken Thompson Parkway, Sarasota, Florida 34236. The labs are in the Mote building across the parkway from the main aquarium.
