Spring Hill, Pasco, Pinellas, Florida (January 2, 2018) – Suncoast OB/GYN proudly announces that Melissa Slaght, ARNP, Certified Nurse Midwife with Suncoast OB/GYN and All Women’s Midwifery, was recently appointed as the Florida West Coast Breastfeeding Task Force’s new Volunteer & Education Outreach Coordinator. Melissa has served the women of Hernando County since 2013, treating women from puberty through menopause. Melissa currently delivers babies at Oak Hill Hospital. She is a strong breastfeeding advocate and is always one to participate in her community as such.
About the Florida West Coast Breastfeeding Task Force
The Florida West Coast Breastfeeding Task Force is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization committed to bringing awareness to the importance of breastfeeding in Pasco, Hernando and Citrus counties. Our group is comprised of community health care workers, nurses, doctors and community members who dedicate their time to ensure that every breastfeeding mother is supported, educated and empowered. We provide peer to peer resources, education and peer to peer support for mothers and families who are breastfeeding or providing breast milk to their little ones.

Suncoast OB/GYN and All Women’s Midwifery is a leading obstetric and gynecological practice serving the women of Hernando County from puberty through menopause.
