The public is invited to attend “City of Hope: Transcendent Faith-Civic Spirituality,” a special free event presented by Project Grady Rayam at 7 p.m. Fri., Jan. 12, 2018, at Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Institutional Church at 535 West Washington St. in Orlando.
Sponsored by the Orlando Mayor’s Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Commission, the musical and spiritual community event will feature speaker Rev. Dr. James Morris of Carter Tabernacle CME, the “Negro Spiritual” Scholarship Foundation and L.A.M.P. Prize Winning Artists, the UUUS Youth Speech Chorus, and the Bethune-Cookman University Concert Chorale.
