WHAT: New Year’s Eve Revelers looking for places to go for New Year’s Eve need to look no further than the TradeWinds “Toast by the Coast” New Year’s Eve Event which takes place from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. in the TradeWinds Island Grand Ballroom. Partiers 21 and over are invited to don their best duds for an evening of festivities, food, and fun. This year’s live entertainment, the band Motel Funk, will keep everyone on the dance floor until the wee hours. Guests will also have access to an open bar and will receive a glass of bubbly and noisemakers for the champagne toast at midnight. An extensive gourmet hors d’oeuvres buffet is the centerpiece of this year’s New Year’s Eve celebration, including chef-carved beef steamship round with roasted garlic au jus, pear and blue cheese in phyllo, maytag stuffed mini beef wellington, Tandoori chicken sate and a pasta station featuring cavatappi in a sweet basil pomodoro sauce and cheese tortellini in saffron cream with goat cheese. A dessert display of chocolate fondue, assorted mousse in chocolate shells and miniature pastries and fruit tarts will give the buffet a sweet ending. Entrance to the party is $110 per person, plus tax and gratuity.
For those wanting to take the elevator home and make it a vacation, the TradeWinds is offering a two-night “Toast by the Coast” package. Starting at just $600*, the package includes accommodations at the Island Grand or the Guy Harvey Outpost Dec. 30, 2017 – Jan. 1, 2018 and two tickets for the “Toast by the Coast” New Year’s Eve party. The packages also include the daily resort amenity fee, which includes unlimited rides on the High Tide slide, a hooded beach cabana, paddleboats, tennis court play, fitness center, self-parking, wireless Internet access and more.
Children ages 4-12 can also ring in the New Year with their own New Year’s Eve Party “Rock Around The Clock” complete with games, crafts, dinner and more! Cost is $60 for the first child and $30 for each additional. There will also be a “Midnight in Miami” party for ages 13-17 Cost is $50 per teen. Both Parties are from 7 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Available for guests of the resort and party guests and can be reserved through the TradeWinds Adventure Center.
