Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT Lands 4 Spots On 2018 CCIM West Coast Board

December 14, 2017 by Post

TAMPA (December 13, 2017) – The Florida Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) Chapter has announced its 2018 West Coast District leadership and Coldwell Banker Commercial NRT and Coldwell Banker Residential Real Estate earned four spots on the district board – more than any organization in the region.

Karl “Dee” Maret CCIM, who is the national co-director for CBC NRT, will serve as president in 2018. “I’m more proud of my CCIM certification than my college degree and without earning this hard-earned designation I wouldn’t have had the success I’ve had or the job I do today. I am honored to lead the West Coast District and its more than 200 members for 2018.”

CCIM designees, totaling 13,000 professionals globally, are recognized experts in the commercial and investment real estate industry. Only six percent of all commercial practitioners earn the coveted designation. The West Coast district includes Citrus, Hernando, Pasco, Hillsborough, Pinellas, Polk, Manatee, Hardee, Sarasota, DeSoto and Highlands counties.

Top-producing Coldwell Banker sales associate Liz Menendez CCIM will serve on the Executive Board as well. “I am delighted to be appointed the 2018 Treasurer for the Florida West Coast District. I am eager to serve with such an optimistic, enthusiastic and capable board,” she said.

Janet Robinson CCIM, Tampa Bay director for CBC NRT, will stay on as a committee chairwoman for a second term. “The CCIM West Coast District is a great group to work with and I look forward to continuing as the liaison with the Sarasota/Manatee CCIM members.”

CBC NRT sales associate Kris Dumke assumes a spot on the board for the first time as a University liaison. “I am very proud and honored to represent our CCIM district in any capacity. As a young agent, I’m looking forward to working with college students who are seeking their own direction in life. I hope that my efforts will help some students recognize CCIM as an important catalyst for a successful career in commercial real estate,” he said.

CCIMs include brokers, agents, leasing professionals, investment counselors, asset managers, appraisers, corporate real estate executives, property managers, developers, institutional investors, commercial lenders, attorneys and other related professionals. The designation has been termed “The PhD of commercial real estate.”
