Brooksville, Florida – December 6, 2017 – TreeUmph! Adventure Course is soaring into Brooksville with a new 40-acre treetop obstacle and zipline park located at 6440 Cedar Lane. The new Brooksville location is projected to bring approximately $3.8 million in local economic impact and create up to 30 full- and part-time jobs in its first year. TreeUmph! has been working closely with Hernando County Economic Development and the Tourism Development Bureau to make the treetop park a favorite destination for adventurous tourists and locals alike.
TreeUmph!’s adventures range from beginner to extreme at the Brooksville park. Guests will enjoy over 130 treetop obstacles and ziplines, and those who choose to stay on the ground can watch the adventures from walking trails and observation areas. New to TreeUmph!’s repertoire is the “Little Ninja” course, a ground-based, 30-obstacle adventure that tests the ninja skills of little warriors aged 5 to 8 years old.
“What I love about this new park is the integration of our obstacles in the huge trees and jungle-like setting of the adventure coast. This place is absolutely amazing. Every day when we step foot on the property we are overwhelmed with just how beautiful and unique it is,” said Aaron Corr, co-owner of TreeUmph! Adventure Course.
To accompany the grand opening celebration, TreeUmph! hosted a VIP Event on Wednesday, December 6 with government officials and representatives from the local business community. During this private event, a mermaid from Weeki Wachee Springs ventured from the water and took to the trees as the first-ever ziplining mermaid!
“We think it’s perfect that Weeki Wachee, Florida’s oldest roadside attraction, is helping welcome us, Florida’s newest attraction, to the area. We will be proud to make TreeUmph! a place that the Hernando County community will both enjoy and benefit from,” said Alex Scholten, co-owner of TreeUmph! Adventure Course.
