Jason D’Auria Promoted to Vice President of Hospice Operations at Cornerstone Hospice

Jason D’Auria is the VP of Hospice Operations at Cornerstone Hospice

Lakeland, Fla. – Jason D’Auria, formerly executive director of Cornerstone Hospice operations in Polk, Hardee and Highlands counties, has been promoted to Vice President of Hospice Operations at Cornerstone Hospice.

In this new role, D’Auria oversees the quality of patient care within the entire seven-county region that Cornerstone Hospice services. He will work closely with staff to ensure they have the resources necessary to provide an exceptional patient experience.

“Jason is nothing less than passionate about the patients we serve and has played an instrumental role in developing programs to improve the patient experience,” said Chuck Lee, President and CEO of Cornerstone Hospice. “In fact, Jason helped lead implementation of our seven-day care management protocol which was recognized by the Florida Hospice and Palliative Care Association with an Excellence in Program Innovation Award in May 2017.”

D’Auria has been with Cornerstone Hospice since 2014. D’Auria, who is a seventh generation Floridian, has eight years of hospice experience and over 15 years of leadership experience. He is Six Sigma-Certified in process improvement and is a Saint Leo University alumnus.
