Tampa, Florida (November 29, 2017) – Tampa Community Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of Cynthia Rochon, MBA, BSN, RN, as Nursing Director of Behavior Health & Oasis program. Ms. Rochon comes to Tampa Community Hospital from Largo Medical Center where she served as Director of Nursing for Behavior Health and was responsible for 77 inpatient psychiatric beds that included a six-bed medical behavioral unit. Ms. Rochon has experience in all aspects of behavioral health nursing including child and adolescent and young adult.
She holds an MBA in Healthcare Administration from the University of Phoenix, a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Wayne State University in Michigan, and holds a certificate on the Strategic Leadership Program, CHE Trinity/Healthcare Advisory Board. She has been certified since February 6, 2014.
Ms. Rochon still holds status as adjunct faculty at University of Detroit Mercy, College of Health Professions, is a member of the American Nurses Association, Michigan Organization of Nurse Executives, and the American Psychiatric Nurses Association.
