Brandon, FL – November 9, 2017
Brandon Ballet is giving back to local community heroes this holiday season. The fire fighters of Hillsborough County Fire Department – Bloomingdale Fire Station No. 27 are invited to join Brandon Ballet for their 24th annual production of The Nutcracker. Fire rescuers went door to door ensuring the safety of residents along the Alafia River, which flooded after Hurricane Irma. In recognition and appreciation of the emergency medical service provided, the non-profit ballet company is offering free tickets to those rescuers.
Brandon Ballet will present four performances of The Nutcracker, a favorite holiday tradition, with new choreography by Doricha Sales, Artistic Director, and music by Tchaikovsky. The full-length production features talented professionals, pre-professional and company dancers, lavish costumes and scenery, and an infectious score that will mesmerize children and adults alike.
