Chad Nuss of InsideOut describes how failure can lead to success
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – (Nov. 17, 2017) – Tampa Bay Innovation Center, an innovation and entrepreneurship center for technology businesses, will hold its quarterly “Diary of an Entrepreneur” program, part of the TECH Talk series, on Tuesday, Dec. 12, 2017, at 8:30 a.m. at Microsoft Headquarter offices, 5426 Bay Center Dr., Suite 700, Tampa.
The December Diary of an Entrepreneur program, “Embracing failure in your business to achieve growth and scale,” will be presented by Chad Nuss, founder and chief revenue officer of InsideOut, the world’s first sales innovation lab. He will discuss how little failures along the way can help entrepreneurs invent and innovate their product or service. As an example, AirBnB’s original business model focused on selling bed and breakfast vacancies online. Now it is the #1 vacation destination company in the world. Netflix shipped DVDs to customers, and is now a leading content producer for both online and television. Nuss will share practical tips and techniques to advance a product even when market and internal challenges attempt to slow down the entrepreneurial spirit.
As a start-up founder and chief revenue officer, Nuss combines his passion for innovation and inside sales at InsideOut. InsideOut helps sales leaders test and validate the best approach to acquire, retain and grow their customers within a lab environment. The company has produced hundreds of sales programs for high growth companies from Fortune 500s to start-ups. Throughout his 20-year sales career, he has trained, managed and deployed more than 5,000 inside sales professionals for global leaders like Microsoft, SAP, Oracle and Symantec; as well as unicorn start-ups Digital River and Mavenlink.
