Crowley Museum and Nature Center Announces Date for Southwest Florida Heritage Festival
Annual Fundraising Event Focused on Education and Florida History
Sarasota, Fl— Southwest Florida Heritage Festival — Today Crowley Museum and Nature Center announced upcoming date for this year’s Southwest Florida Heritage Festival, ” On February 24th – 25 from 9 am – 5 pm we will be celebrating the agricultural history of Southwest Florida and the pioneers that preceded us”.
“This one of a kind event will focus on history and education. We will offer a number of homesteading skills workshops and demonstrations. There will be a number of activities for the kids as well,” said Jeanene Arrington-Fisher, Event Coordinator at Crowley Museum and Nature Center. Admission is $10 per carload (carpooling encouraged) and $5 per motorcycle
Positive Community Impact
Many local residents have already attended the Southwest Florida Heritage Festival event in the past, again this year we are focusing on giving the attendees an experience, bringing them into the past and giving them an introduction to skills they can use in the future. Crowley Museum and Nature Center, a 501(3) C Non Profit Organization, recently committed to expanding the annual Southwest Florida Heritage Festival to provide a fun venue to re-connect visitors with the. Southwest Florida Heritage Festival will enable Crowley Museum and Nature Center to continue to educate the community, school groups about the importance of agriculture, conservation and history.
