ENGLEWOOD, Fla. – Southwest Florida’s premier, private homebuilder, Neal Communities (NealCommunities.com) is donating $1,000 to sponsor the Lemon Bay Garden Club’s annual Garden Fair.
The event is the club’s major fundraiser and is held prior to Thanksgiving each November. The Garden Fair features a tour of eight local gardens, a luncheon and craft boutique. Handmade cards, home-baked goods and plants are available for purchase as well. This year, the fair will feature two gardens inside Neal Communities’ Boca Royale Golf & Country Club, a semi-private club in a 1,000-acre gated, master-planned Englewood community.
“We thank Neal Communities for its generous donation to our annual event and their commitment to education and beautification of our community,” said Christine Hannula, president of the Lemon Bay Garden Club.
The Garden Fair will take place this weekend on Friday, Nov. 17 and Saturday, Nov.18. Tickets can be purchased at the Lemon Bay Garden Club, located at 480 Yale Street in Englewood, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.
The Lemon Bay Garden Club was established in 1959 by community-minded, garden- loving and artistically talented women with the goal of giving back to the community. The club membership encourages the study and practice of horticulture, landscape design and floral design to add to the beautification of Englewood. Vested in protecting natural resources, the club provides both financial and hands on support to a variety of organizations throughout the area that support its mission.
