Community invited to ‘Old-fashioned Holiday’ at North Port Public Library

SARASOTA COUNTY – The North Port Public Library will hold its annual holiday celebration  2:30-5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, at 13800 S. Tamiami Trail in North Port.
The “Old-fashioned Holiday” is an educational and historical presentation of how holidays were observed in Florida during the 1800’s. This fun-filled event will feature a variety of family-friendly activities, such as music, crafts, historical displays and demonstrations.
The event is free and open to the public. Registration is not required.
