
The Emergency Services Media Relations Officer will tweet on behalf of Battalion Chief Derek Boyer, who will share what happens in the course of his day, station crews that fall in his battalion area and safety tips. Followers on Twitter @scgoveocwill also be able to ask questions and interact with SCFD personnel while they are on shift.
“We are excited to use social media to give an inside look of how the Sarasota County Fire Department operates on a daily basis. We strive to serve our community with pride, and this is another way that we are able to engage with the residents that we serve,” said Sarasota County Fire Chief Michael Regnier.
