Crisis Center of Tampa Bay’s Board Elects New Members. Names 2018 Board Leadership

Tampa, Florida, 11/10/17 – The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay announced that the non-profit organization’s Board of Directors has elected six new members. In addition, the board elected its officers for 2018.

Jim Porter, Partner at Adams and Reese, LLP
Rebecca Rosenthal, Speech-Language Pathologist at BayCare Health System
Karen Skyers, Attorney at Becker & Poliakoff

Crisis Center of Tampa Bay Board Officers
Chair: Jamie Klingman, Creative Founder, Broker Owner at The Klingman Group
Chair Elect: Christopher Rogers, Senior Vice President, Information Technology and Security at Sykes Enterprises, Inc.
Immediate Past Chair: Tanya Hillary, President at Hillary Consulting Group

The Crisis Center of Tampa Bay’s Board of Directors is a group of community leaders who volunteer their time and expertise to provide strategic direction to the organization. The board enables the organization to achieve its vision and mission by being advocates and champions of the mission, ensuring the establishment and implementation of appropriate policies and procedures, actively participating in resource development, and exercising stewardship and appropriate oversight.

The mission of the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay is to ensure that no one in our community has to face crisis alone. The organization is the community’s gateway to help, hope, and healing, and is Tampa Bay’s elite provider of crisis and trauma services. Responding to over 160,000 requests for help each year, the nonprofit agency offers a range of evidence based programs designed to meet community needs:

• Gateway Contact Center (2-1-1: suicide prevention, crisis counseling, and information and referral services)
• Corbett Trauma Center (trauma counseling and sexual assault survivor services)
• TransCare (9-1-1 emergency and mental health ambulance services, medical van transportation)
