| SARASOTA, Fla. (Oct. 31, 2017) Brunch on the Bay, one of the most anticipated social events of the year, is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 5, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., at the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus, 8350 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota.
This year’s Brunch will feature 19 of the region’s finest restaurants and food and beverage companies, in addition to a group of students and faculty from the College of Hospitality & Tourism Leadership.
Speakers include USF System President Dr. Judy Genshaft, USFSM Interim Regional Chancellor Dr. Terry Osborn, USF Foundation CEO Joel Momberg and USFSM student Jaime Hernandez Carranza. Roger Frazee and Diana Michel are this year’s Brunch co-chairs.
Since 1994, Brunch on the Bay has been USFSM’s premiere social event, providing more $1.3 million to the university endowment and generating more than $1 million in direct college scholarships, including to first-generation students who are the first in their families to attend college.
All of this is made possible through hundreds of generous individual and corporate donations made through ticket purchases, table sponsorships and direct gifts. The brunch, itself, occurs under a white tent amid the splendor of USFSM’s scenic campus on North Tamiami Trail.
This year’s restauranteurs are already hard at work, so please come and join us for an afternoon of fun, food and giving to a worthy cause.
