Pasco Tax Collector Offices to Raise Funds for “Nourish to Flourish” During the Month of November

October 31, 2017 by Post

During the month of November the “Nourish to Flourish” program will be the highlighted charity at the Pasco County Tax Collector’s Office. “Nourish to Flourish” was created as part of the Beth Dillinger Foundation, which was founded by Bob Dillinger, Public Defender for Pasco & Pinellas Counties, and his wife Kay Dillinger, in honor of their late daughter Beth Dillinger. The “Nourish to Flourish” program’s mission is to provide food to the estimated 7,000 children in our community who consistently go without regular meals.

“Thank you for this tremendous opportunity,” state Bob and Kay Dillinger, Co-Founders of the Beth Dillinger Foundation/Nourish to Flourish. “We could not possibly feed as many chronically hungry children without the support of the community. We have ZERO administrative overhead and take no government money. Thank you for any help you can give to these children in Pasco. Your small investment today, provides a lifetime of promise for a child tomorrow.”

The “Nourish to Flourish” program provides prepacked food trays that children identified as most in need can take home from school them so they can eat on weekends. “Nourish to Flourish” works with local schools to distribute the food trays in dozens of schools in local communities.

“I applaud Public Defender Bob Dillinger and Mrs. Dillinger for their commitment to meeting the needs of children in our community through the creation of the ‘Nourish to Flourish’ program,” states Pasco Tax Collector Mike Fasano. “I especially support their efforts to ensure that no child go home hungry on weekends. I encourage every customer who visits our office during the month of November to make a donation to this fine charity.”
