30th Annual Sponge Docks Seafood Festival Features Regional Musicians

Date/Time: November 10-12, 2017; Friday, 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM, Saturday, 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM, Sunday, 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Sponge Docks, Tarpon Springs, FL: The Sponge Docks Seafood Festival will take place along Dodecanese Blvd with a food court provided at 615 Hope St. on November 10-12, 2017. The event will provide plenty of tasty choices to please everyone’s palate, with over a dozen different food vendors!

Continuous live music is once again offered in the food court all weekend long, featuring local and regional musicians.  Opening the event on Friday will be Tarpon Springs’ own Joel and Dakota, followed by Code Red, with Razin Jane rounding out the evening. Saturday’s lineup includes Silver and Rust, I ♥ Cats, and Stone GrooV, wrapping up with The Paul Anthony Band. On Sunday, Steve Borst followed by Keith & Frank will be entertaining the crowd with songs everyone knows by heart and the event will close with The Doors of Perception, Tampa’s Janis Joplin and Jim Morrison tribute band.

Historic Tarpon Springs is famous not only for the world’s finest sponges, but also for some of the best Greek restaurants, markets, and bakeries in the country. This three day outdoor festival, hosted by The Tarpon Springs Merchant’s Association, will feature tons of fresh local seafood to tempt your taste buds, an art & craft show with up to 60 local and regional artists selling their work, continuous live music, unique retail shops and complimentary festivities for the whole family.
