SARASOTA, Fla. (Oct. 27, 2017) – USF Sarasota-Manatee has welcomed two new members to its Campus Board. William Joseph “Bill” Mariotti and Frederick “Rick” Piccolo were appointed by the USF Board of Trustees as members of the five-person board. They join fellow members, USF System Trustee and Campus Board Chair Byron Shinn, David Eckel and Dr. Anila Jain.
“The appointments of Bill and Rick are excellent decisions, as both have demonstrated strong community leadership abilities and a commitment to USF Sarasota-Manatee,” said Dr. Terry Osborn, interim regional chancellor for USFSM. “As they work with their fellow members of the Campus Board and lend their voices to important issues affecting our campus, I am confident that, moving forward, we will receive the best guidance and governance possible.” Mariotti and Piccolo were appointed to four-year terms ending June 30, 2021.
