Enjoy a day of nature-based outdoor fun on Saturday, November 4, 2017, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Wild About Nature Festival hosted by Conservation Foundation of the Gulf Coast. This free event is on the shores of Little Sarasota Bay at Bay Preserve, 400 Palmetto Avenue in Osprey. Your family will love the open space of Bay Preserve, with plenty of room for families to gather and have fun outdoors.
Activities this year include tree climbing, family hula hoop lessons, nature printing, animal yoga, a nature scavenger hunt, face painting, live music and a chance to try kayaking as part of the fun. Next-door neighbor, Historic Spanish Point will provide opportunities for more fun too.
Conservation Foundation is grateful to sponsors Herald-Tribune Media Group, SCENE magazine and Doctors Hospital. For more information call 941-918-2100.
