Mayor represents lenders, investors, syndicators, and developers in structuring and closing new construction and rehabilitation deals involving new markets tax credits, renewable energy credits, historic rehabilitation tax credits, and multiple layers of financing, including federal, state, and local loan and grant programs. He also assists clients with the asset management and servicing of real estate and tax credit portfolios, including financings, refinancings and restructurings. Mayor also has experience working with non profit organizations on formation, tax-exemption, governance and community development issues.
Mayor received his Master of Laws from the University of Florida Levin College of Law where he was a Dean Mead Scholar and Graduate Editor of the Florida Tax Review. He received his Juris Doctor from the University of Notre Dame Law School, where he received the Law School Fellowship Award and was Senior Articles Editor of the Journal of Legislation. While in law school, Mayor interned at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida. He received his Bachelor’s in Finance from the University of Florida, and was a National Merit Scholar.
