Sarasota Musica Viva Announces “Passionate Moments” Concert

October 20, 2017 by Post

St. Boniface Episcopal Church, Siesta Key

SARASOTA, FL, October 18, 2017 – Sarasota Musica Viva, the area’s premier non-profit chamber music organization is pleased to announce its “Passionate Moments” Concert at St. Boniface Episcopal Church, Siesta Key, on Sunday, November 12, 2017 at 6:00 PM. The program includes works by Joseph Jongen, Francis Poulenc, Gordon Jacob and Malcolm Arnold and features International Competition winner and Julliard graduate, pianist Mackenzie Melemed in performance with members of the Sarasota Orchestra and Venice Symphony. The evening includes interactive program notes with the musicians and passionately beautiful music.

“What we love about this program is the passion and energy which creates a deep connection to our souls. St. Boniface offers a world class piano and the most intimate environment in which musicians are able to interact and bring a new awareness and passion for little known pieces to our audience,” explains Linda Bento Rei, Artistic Director.
