TAMPA, Fla. (October 18, 2017) – When the sun goes down, the streets of Tampa light up with music, laughter, art, friends and FREE fun the Fourth Friday of every month. Now in its second year, Fourth Friday, presented by TECO, an Emera Company, and brought to you by the Tampa Downtown Partnership, announces its lineup for this month’s event on Friday, October 27:

AIA Tampa Bay: Located at 1315 E 7th Ave., Suite 105, in Ybor City, AIA celebrates Fourth Friday from 4:30-7:30pm with free admission to their Instagram & Architecture exhibit. While there enjoy complimentary drinks and snacks.
Florida Museum of Photographic Arts: Located at 400 N. Ashley Dr. in Downtown Tampa, FMoPA celebrates Fourth Friday from 5:00-7:00pm with Pay-As-You-Will admission and refreshments. Join them this month for their Members Advisory Panel pop up exhibition with guest speaker Gary Monroe, Florida’s Self-Taught Renegade Artists.
Henry B. Plant Museum: Located at 401 W. Kennedy Blvd. on the University of Tampa campus, the Museum celebrates Fourth Friday from 4:00-5:00pm with free admission and audio tours. This month it’s Henry B. Plant’s birthday! Join them in the celebration with Oh Henry bars for all visitors and an opportunity to take a selfie with your favorite historical figures.
Jobsite Theater/Straz Center: Located at 1010 N Macinnes Pl. in Downtown Tampa, Jobsite and the Straz Center celebrate Fourth Friday together with $15 tickets to that nights showing of The Threepenny Opera. Additionally, they will be offering a free concert by Opera Tampa Singers called The Wicking Hour at 7pm in front of the Jaeb Theater and a drawing to win tickets to Macbeth. Enjoy all of this with a beverage from their Sip and Stroll bar.
John F. Germany Library: Located at 900 N. Ashley Dr. in Downtown Tampa, the Library celebrates Fourth Friday from 4:00-6:00pm with free entry to enjoy the exhibits. Check out the Hive’s 3D Printing, robotics lab and recording studio. This month experience their Stranger Things themed “Maze-Hunt”, half maze – half scavenger hunt – all fun! Perfect for all ages.
Rialto Theatre: Located at 1617 N. Franklin St. in Downtown Tampa, Rialto Theatre celebrates Fourth Friday from 6:00-9:00 p.m. with an exhibit with a FMoPA exhibit in the gallery, Tarot exhibit in the main hall with live entertainment and tarot readings.
TECO Public Art Gallery: Located at 702 N. Franklin St., TECO Public Art Gallery presents an exhibition titled Alternative Spaces – Illusions and the Essence of Places by husband and wife team Ron Weiss and Christine Ghezzo, photographers who are represented by United Photographic Artists (UPA) Gallery. Both photographers and representatives from UPA will be present for a Talk & Tour Event from 5:30-8:00pm at the Gallery during Fourth Friday. This event is free and open to the public.
Unlock Tampa Bay Visitors Center: Located at 201 N Franklin St., Suite 102 in Tampa City Center, Visit Tampa Bay’s stylish Unlock Tampa Bay Visitors Center showcases a trove of great products built, crafted or written by Tampa Bay’s talented krewe of artists and artisans. This month come by between 4:00pm and 8:00pm for a 15% discount during Fourth Friday and meet Tampa photographer John Weatherby.
Ybor City Visitor Center: Located at 1600 E. 8th Ave. in Ybor City, Ybor City Visitor Center celebrates Fourth Friday from 4:00-5:00pm with a free entry, 10% off in their gift shop, and viewing of the Ybor City National Historic Landmark District Video.

Dr. Francesca Bacci will be conducting a special Curatorial Tour for visitors beginning at 5:30pm. Dr. Bacci worked closely with Tim Hawkinson to select from his vast collection of idiosyncratic creations to demonstrate the artist’s exploration of body and human consciousness throughout his expansive 30 plus year artistic career.
Tampa Museum of Art: ocated at 120 W Gasparilla Plaza in Downtown Tampa, the Museum celebrates Fourth Friday from 4:00-10:00pm with pay-as-you-will admission and free scheduled gallery activities (check in at the front desk for start times). Enjoy Sono Café’s tapas menu, dinner feature and complimentary hors d’oeuvres, then take your beverage with you to explore the Riverwalk!
