Join us for the final Demo Day at The Iron Yard with some very talented developers. Demo Day will kick off with brief presentations about the 20 engineers who will present full applications, the culmination of their intensive training at The Iron Yard to an audience of local tech companies, engineers, and supporters of the tech community. Following presentations, attendees will be able to see first-hand demos of the applications and get to know the engineers. All are welcomed to attend!
Presentations will be from 2pm – 2:30 pm and followed by a science-fair style Q&A time with students, where attendees will have the chance to interact with the projects, view the code, and talk with graduates individually.
The event will take place at the Iron Yard campus, located on the 4th and 5th floor of the Station House building.
You’re invited to a ribbon cutting for Brea’s Coffee!
Start the day with Brea’s Coffee for their grand opening and ribbon cutting in the Skyway Marina District on Thursday, October 19th.
Owner Bruce McWilliams is a graduate of our Ice House Entrepreneurship Program, and together with his wife, he began Brea’s Coffee as a mobile coffee business. Their venture has been steadily growing within the community, and they’ve recently opened their first brick and mortar location at the Skyway Mall.
Come out to try a great cup of coffee and join us for a ribbon cutting ceremony at 8:30 AM with Mayor Rick Kriseman and St. Petersburg Chamber President/CEO, Chris Steinocher.
