SARASOTA/TAMPA, FL – Goodwill Manasota and Argosy University have forged a partnership in order to make Argosy’s educational programs more accessible for Goodwill employees, volunteers and those who utilize its free Job Connection career services. This collaboration will make available a scholarship of 25 percent of tuition and the waiving of the application fee for new applicants. This partnership is open is to the Sarasota and Tampa campuses (excluding the Clinical Psychology program).

Argosy University is a university community dedicated to delivering high-quality professional education programs to working professionals. The university offers doctoral, masters, post-graduate certificates and undergraduate programs in professional and career fields as well as continuing education and professional development services.

Goodwill is deeply committed to the professional development of its team members. Each year, Goodwill Manasota employees take part in more than 20,000 hours of training while on the clock. This is an investment that doesn’t just improve job performance – it enhances the employees’ personal development and feelings of self-worth.

“Goodwill Manasota is known for its learning programs that support the development of its workforce,” said Bob Rosinsky, president and CEO of Goodwill Manasota. “This partnership will provide resources to help those closest to us to achieve their career and life goals.”

Argosy University’s Corporate Education Program curriculum emphasizes interpersonal skills and practical experience – providing people with a wealth of tools and abilities.

“Argosy University is excited to partner with Goodwill Manasota and we welcome you to our university community, said Argosy president Jeff Day. “We are dedicated to delivering high-quality professional education programs to working professionals, and look forward to doing so for employees of and others associated with Goodwill Manasota.”
