
The Hernando County Board of County Commissioners presented a proclamation to the Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce decreeing October 18, 2017 as National Chamber of Commerce Day in Hernando County.
The Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce is the 7th largest chamber in the Tampa Bay region, and the ONLY chamber in Hernando County. Our mission is to strengthen our business environment to enable our members to prosper.
“National Chamber of Commerce Day” is observed annually and aims to deepen professional relationships by promoting local businesses, provide networking and training opportunities for the business community and advocating for all businesses in Hernando County. Through these efforts, Chambers of Commerce help create a more powerful and stronger community and economy.
Thank you to all our members, volunteers, business owners and leaders for their support and dedication to our community. If you would like to become involved, here are a few ideas:
- Become a Chamber member. Businesses aren’t the only groups that can join. Churches, non-profits, local government leaders and various individuals can also be members.
- Become active. Volunteer to help with chamber events, go to meetings, and support other chamber businesses.
- Show your appreciation, say “Thank you” or share a story about the Greater Hernando County Chamber of Commerce and its members by using the hashtags #ShopHernando, and #HernandoChamber on social media.
Most of all, Shop Local. Support all local businesses and continue to promote and share the hidden gems of Hernando County. #LiveShopPlayHernando
