The Tampa Oratorio Singers (TOS) will open their Golden Anniversary 2017-18 season with Franz Schubert’s Mass No. 6 in E Flat Major on Sunday, November 5th, 2017 at 4 p.m. Music Director Nancy Callahan will conduct the performance, with professional soloists and full orchestra, at Palma Ceia Presbyterian Church in Tampa.
Susan Hellman Spatafora (soprano), Robyn Rocklein (mezzo-soprano), Adam Bielamowicz (tenor), and Todd Donovan (bass) will perform the solos and ensembles. All of the soloists are from the central west coast of Florida.
Other performances in the 2017-18 season will be:
• Handel’s Messiah (Christmas portion) – December 10th at 6 p.m. and December 11th at 7:00 p.m. (free will donation)
• Singing the Season – December 17, 2017 at 4:00 p.m.
• Brahms Requiem – March 25, 2018 at 4:00 p.m.

A part of the classical music community in Tampa Bay since 1987, TOS has more than 80 volunteer singers from throughout the area. TOS is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization funded through ticket sales, donations, and the support of the Arts Council of Hillsborough County and the Hillsborough County Board of Commissioners.
