October 6, 2017 by Post

Florida CFO Group partner Harold Hale holds what he believes is a unique position among the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s recently announced Fast Fifty – he’s a full-time CFO, and a partner in the Florida CFO Group. Hale joined Tampa-based Protect My Car in December of 2015 as the result of the company’s extensive search for a CFO with the financial expertise and experience to guide its rapid growth. Hale’s role as a partner in the Florida CFO Group began in 2012, when he joined the organization with over 20 years of experience in corporate finance and operations experience.
The Florida CFO Group addresses growing demand by businesses to contract CFOs for specific, strategic financial support on a full-, part-, or project-basis. This enables organizations to match their specific needs to highly skilled and experienced CFOs with backgrounds spanning decades of financial and operational experience.
“Building a corporate culture is an important component of our successful growth,” commented Craig Rubino, Protect My Car’s CEO. “We were concerned with the balance between bringing onboard the financial leadership and skills that we need and how that individual would mesh with our management team.
“Harold’s exceeded our expectations, spearheading the development of key metrics and presenting actionable financial analysis to our board of directors, equity partners and lenders, as well as bringing a better financial understanding to everyone in our team.” Rubino continued, “He has become an integral part of our management team.”
According to Hale, “I’m proud to be part of the exceptional management team at Protect My Car. It’s an extremely hard-working group and sets an example for the entire company.”
“Being named to the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Fast 50 is recognition of the management team’s vision and ability to effectively manage the company,” Hale concluded.
Extended warranty leader Protect My Car was named one of the Tampa Bay area’s 10 fastest-growing companies by the Tampa Bay Business Journal at a ceremony on July 27, 2017. The Fast 50 list was created to shine a spotlight on local companies that are undergoing explosive revenue growth.
