The Women’s Business Enterprise Council Announces Inaugural Class of Executives

Tampa, FL. – Safety recognition program experts, Safety Pros Powered by Proforma, is excited to announce that company owner, Michele Adams, has been accepted as part of the inaugural class of the Women’s Business Enterprise Council (WBENC) Energy Executive Program.
The WBENC Energy Executive Program will be held at the Shell Robert Training & Conference Center (RTCC) in New Orleans, Louisiana. Every year, thousands of men and women attend training events at the Shell RTCC to prepare themselves for the ever-increasing challenges of working in oil and gas operations. Now, Adams, will become part of the training experience during a weeklong, immersive executive education experience. The training program will focus on the Energy, Oil and Gas industry and will use actual business experiences to increase the competitive advantage, capabilities and strategy development of each attendee. This program supports the evolution of Diversity and Inclusion strategies among major Energy, Oil and Gas companies, and further shows the commitment towards impacting the long-term success of diverse businesses that are critical to the global energy supply chains.
The intensive curriculum for this program will be taught by industry experts and professors from the University of Texas, McCombs School of Business will teach the curriculum for this program and include key topics in:
• Business Strategy
• Marketing
• Finance
• Leadership
• Introduction to Energy
• Facility tour with hands-on exercises and real-life simulations of oil rig and process operations
The Safety Pros Powered by Proforma is also beholden to announce that Adams has been granted full sponsorship to attend the program. Sponsorship comes from the generosity of Shell Oil Company. Being part of the inaugural class of the WBENC Energy Executive Program is a great honor for Adams.
