Burg Buys Local Week:

St. Pete made it through Hurricane Irma and recovery is underway. Many have asked what they can do to help – here’s your answer!
The Sunshine City’s locally-owned, independent businesses are integral to the unique flavor of our city. This week, business community leaders and City officials have come together to encourage residents to choose local and support neighborhood and locally-owned businesses in response to Irma’s disruption.

Now more than ever, they need us to rally around them and show them how important they are to this community.

Here’s how you can help: This week, make it a goal to shop, play, eat, drink, give and live local in every pocket of the city. Share how you’re embracing and experiencing ‘Burg Buys Local Week’ on social media – and we’ll be doing the same.

HURRICANE IRMA’S IMPACT ON LOCAL BUSINESSES

The Greenhouse, in partnership with the St. Petersburg Chamber of Commerce and the City of St. Pete, has launched a survey to determine Hurricane Irma’s impact on local businesses.

The survey is open to all St. Petersburg based businesses. It aims to determine how they were affected by the storm, what types of assistance they require and their recommendations for actions that can be taken to minimize loss in the future.
