Come out St. Pete for Second Saturday ArtWalk on October 14, 2017

September 25, 2017 by Post

Join us as 40 artists’ studios and galleries open their doors on Saturday, October 14 from 5-9 p.m.  The Waterfront Arts District, Central Arts District, EDGE District, Grand Central District, and the Warehouse Arts District become one arts destination for the St. Petersburg Second Saturday ArtWalk.  Join us as ArtWalk also celebrates the inaugural Come Out St. Pete event, encouraging a sense of community.

Now’s the best time to enjoy our vibrant arts community.  Open the door of a gallery you’ve never visited before, or try our free trolleys and visit all the arts districts

It’s impossible to take in the entire ArtWalk in one night!  If you don’t wish to ride of the trolley, free parking can be found on 1st Ave N and 1st Ave S from 15th St. to 30th St., The Clay Center of St. Petersburg, MGA Studios and the Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American Museum.  Download the map and list of participants to plan your festive art evening at www.stpeteartsalliance.org.

Come Out St. Pete advocates for community awareness and acceptance of all sexual orientations and gender identities, and encourages a sense of community through a series of events and activities that promote equality for all.  Come Out St. Pete runs Oct. 7-15 with a number of events including a collaboration with Movies in the Park on Oct 12.   Oct 11th is National Coming Out Day.  More info: https://www.comeoutstpete.org/event/come-out-artwalk/
