Belle of the Ball Project will provide free homecoming dresses and accessories to in-need high school girls on Saturday September 30, 2017, from 10am to 2pm, at its boutique at 1210 Holt Avenue, Clearwater. It will also provide dresses on Saturday October 14 and Saturday October 21, 2017. The 5,000 sq. ft. permanent Belle of the Ball boutique is a beautiful store-like setting, with over 3,000 dresses in inventory.
The charity, now in its second decade of serving girls, welcomes all financially needy girls to get a dress regardless of where they live. Over 100 girls received dresses Saturday, September 23 in the first of 4 homecoming shopping days in 2017 Almost 600 girls from seven area counties received dresses in 2016. Over 5,800 girls from 14 Florida counties have been served since 2003.
Dresses are available to all in-need, high school girls for their high school dances (prom, homecoming, military ball ). We respect the honor system. No referral letter is necessary. No appointment needed. A $1 to $5 donation is requested but not required. Dresses are for high school dances only!!
