Bogati Urn Company Giving Back to Hurricane Victims

September 21, 2017 by Post

SARASOTA, FL (September 21, 2017) – Hurricane Harvey affected 13 million people from Texas through Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee and Kentucky*. At the time of this writing, thousands are still without power due to Hurricane Irma, while the overall number affected has not yet even been determined. By contrast, the Bogati Urn Company was minimally affected by Irma despite being well within the storm’s anticipated track. Because our team realizes so many others lost so much, our current Bogati Gives Back effort will go toward those so greatly affected by both hurricanes.

“We only suffered a short loss in power and phone service, so we are counting our blessings,” said Andrea Bogard LeBlanc, owner of Bogati Urn Company. “However, we know many others weren’t so lucky and are in great need during this very trying time. For that reason, we want to do what we can to help, and we’re proud to offer a way for our customers to participate.”

Customers can do that simply through their normal purchases with Bogati, as a portion of each purchase from now through October 31, 2017 will be donated to the American Red Cross. The organization will be providing financial assistance to Florida households that were severely impacted by Irma and will be continuing to provide financial assistance to Texas households that were severely impacted by Harvey.

Should anyone also want to make a direct donation or learn more about volunteering for the relief effort, we have provided several links on the Bogati Gives Back page of our website at https://bogatiurns.com/bogati-gives-back/.

“This time it could have easily been us. It was that close,” Bogard LeBlanc said. “This donation effort is the least we can do to help our neighbors and their devastated communities get back on their feet.”
