ST. PETERSBURG, FL (August 31, 2017) – Citizens are encouraged to view recommendations and provide final input for the city’s Complete Streets Implementation Plan during a 6:30 p.m. open house Tuesday, September 12, at the Main Library, 3745 9th Ave. N. Recommendations to be presented at the September open house were developed following four public meetings earlier this year to suggest ways of improving our streets to be safer and more comfortable for a variety of users. Citizens attending the September open house are invited to share opinions and ideas which will be considered for inclusion in the final plan that also serves as an update to the CityTrails Bicycle Pedestrian Master Plan.
The city adopted a Complete Streets policy in 2015 to encourage the development of a network of streets that are safe and convenient for all users. For information, visit www.stpete.org/CompleteStreets.
