Funk in Tampa, Jeff Meehan in Orlando, raised the bar in Florida multi-family market sales with a record-setting $348,015 per unit for its garden-apartment community, The Quaye at Palm Beach Gardens. The 34-acre, 340-residence apartment complex in Palm Beach Gardens sold for over $118 million to Prudential Financial’s real estate arm, PGIM Real Estate, at the end of July.
Built in 2015, the Quaye earned the South Florida Business Journal’s 2016 Best Green Project award and a National Association of Home Builders Gold designation for its green features including energy efficient lighting, water-saving faucets, showers and toilets, high efficiency air conditioning units, solar roof ventilation, and electric vehicle charging outlets as well as impact rated hi-efficiency windows to reduce solar heat gain.

Funk. The community has averaged a 98% percent occupancy rate.
