Watson Clinic Foundation Announces Upcoming Annual Charity Golf Event

August 21, 2017 by Post

Lakeland, FL – The Watson Clinic Foundation is pleased to announce that their 24th Annual Benefit Golf Classic will take place on Saturday, October 21 from the beautiful Huntington Hills Golf & Country Club in Lakeland.

“Our annual golf tournament is one of the key events which allow us to continue our mission of improving the health and vitality of our community,” says Peggy Garrett, program coordinator of the Watson Clinic Foundation. “Participants can contribute to their community simply by enjoying an ideal day on a beautiful course.“

In addition to tournament play, the event features a luxurious dinner, raffle giveaways, and a variety of fun contests and assorted games of skill.  Entry for one golfer is $125, which includes range balls, golf cart, a bag lunch and seating for one at the awards dinner ceremonies later that evening.

Proceeds from the annual golf tournament allow the Foundation to continue their mission of promoting community wellness through education, research and service. These efforts include free educational community lectures, potentially life-saving health screenings, progressive research projects and continuing education assistance for our local medical students.

For more information on sponsorship opportunities, or to reserve your participation for the event, call 863-602-6220.
