Tony DiBenedetto of Tribridge, a DXC Technology Company, describes the journey from startup to public company
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – (Aug. 9, 2017) – Tampa Bay Innovation Center, an innovation and entrepreneurship center for technology businesses, will hold its quarterly “Diary of an Entrepreneur” program, part of the TECH Talk series, on Tuesday, Sept. 12, 2017, at 8:30 a.m. at Microsoft Headquarter offices, 5426 Bay Center Dr., Suite 700, Tampa.
The September Diary of an Entrepreneur program, “From startup to public company: the strategic investments that fueled the growth of Tribridge,” will be presented by Tony DiBenedetto, Tribridge chairman and CEO. He will discuss leading Tampa-based Tribridge from a startup in 1998 to a $180 million software, services and cloud business before recently being acquired by DXC, the world’s leading independent, end-to-end IT services company. He will share his journey on growing Tribridge through outside capital as well as strategic investments in developing culture, talent and innovation.
DiBenedetto has 30 years of experience in the technology industry, with a focus on executive management, business innovation and high-impact growth. He leads the strategic direction, development and vision of Tribridge and also serves as CEO of Concerto Cloud Services, a fully managed cloud services provider owned by Tribridge. Under his guidance, Tribridge grew from a startup to one of the leading technology companies in the United States, through the successful acquisition and integration of several companies, resulting in a compounded annual growth rate of more than 40 percent each year. In July 2017, he led the acquisition of Tribridge and Concerto by DXC Technology Company, (NYSE: DXC), where he continues to serve as CEO of what is now Tribridge, a DXC Technology Company, and DXC Concerto.
The recipient of numerous leadership awards, including the Ernst & Young Florida Entrepreneur Of The Year® Award in Technology and induction into the Florida State University College of Business Hall of Fame, he was most recently named among the Top 25 Technology Disrupters in the country by CRN magazine.
