
Bradenton, Fl. (July 31, 2017) – Centerstone, a leading non-profit mental health and addiction services provider, announced that Dr. Mihaela Zdrali, PsyD, AFBPS, APA, has joined the organization as Vice President of Outpatient Services for its operations in Florida. In this role, she will manage clinical operations including therapy, assessment and case management and coordinate activities with corporate and community programs. She will also serve as a Research Fellow at Centerstone Research Institute, a behavioral health research organization committed to bridging the gap between science and service.
“Dr. Zdrali brings extensive clinical and management experience to Centerstone, and her background in research, clinical governance and assessment formulation will make her a great asset to Centerstone and the numerous outpatient programs she will oversee including the Florida Assertive Community Treatment program, the Trauma and the Forensic Services, and the Children Assertive Treatment program,” said Melissa Larkin-Skinner, CEO of Centerstone’s operations in Florida.
She recently relocated from the United Kingdom, where she was the Lead Counseling Psychologist and Deputy Operations Director for a leading alcohol and drug rehabilitation center in London. A licensed counseling psychologist, Dr. Zdrali has spent the past 10 years specializing in addictions treatment and trauma-informed approaches to care. She is an Associate Fellow of the British Psychological Society (BPS) and a member of the European Federation of Psychologists’ Associations (EFPA). She is active on the British Register of Coaching Psychologists and the British Register of Practice Clinical Supervisors.
Dr. Zdrali is also a member of the American Society of Addiction Medicine (ASAM) and the American Psychological Association (APA).
Dr. Zdrali earned a Bachelor of Science and a Doctorate in Psychology from the University of Roehampton in London, England. She also served as a lecturer for the university’s psychology postgraduate programs.
