
SARASOTA, Fla. — The Haven, an established non-profit with a 60-year legacy of providing programs and services for children and adults with disabilities, announces recent new hires and staff promotions to further fill out their leadership team.
“Growing our staff capacity is vital to the success of our organization as we complete the $1.2m addition of the Frank Stern Employment Training Center and expansion of our many programs,” said Brad Jones, The Haven’s CEO. “As our population in Sarasota-Manatee continues to grow, we are poised to meet the increased need for services that support self-efficacy and personal fulfillment for individuals with disabilities in the community.”
Jordan Cadavid has accepted the role of Community Outreach Director at The Haven. Prior to her new role, she served as an assistant cruise line director on board Carnival Cruise Lines and as a realtor at Keller Williams Realty Select of Lakewood Ranch. She received her associate’s degree in broadcast journalism with a minor in psychology from Tallahassee Community College.
Christine Crawford, VP of Recruitment and Residential Services, formerly Community Living Coordinator, has served on staff at The Haven since 2013. She received her masters of social work from Aurora University and began her career in human services as a case manager for the chronically homeless and as a medical social worker in home health and hospice care.
Sierra Ebersole has been promoted to VP of Day Services. She is a Florida certified educator with 5 years of teaching experience for children with emotional and behavioral disorders and autism spectrum disorders. She earned her bachelors of arts in special education from the University of North Florida in 2009. Sierra has been on staff for nearly four years and served most recently as the Director of Client Services at The Haven.
Michelle Williams has joined The Haven leadership team as Marketing Director. She previously served at Aviva-A Campus for Senior Life and played an instrumental role during their recent rebrand. Michelle is an experienced brand manager in the non-profit environment. She graduated from Oral Roberts University with her B.A. in Theology and is a proud AmeriCorps alumna.
