Libraries Announce Closures for Parking Lot Resurfacing, August 8-9

St. Petersburg, Fla. (August 3, 2017) – Two St. Petersburg libraries will be closed next week for one day each while the parking lots are resurfaced.

 

– The Johnson Community Library, 1059 18th Avenue South, will be closed on Tuesday, August 8, and will reopen at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, August 9.

 

– The Mirror Lake Community Library, 280 Fifth Street North, will be closed on Wednesday, August 9, and will reopen at 10 a.m. on Thursday, August 10.

 

The parking lots at both facilities will be completely resurfaced and lines repainted.

 

All other St. Petersburg libraries will be open with the following hours:

 

-Main Library, 3745 Ninth Avenue North, will be open Tuesday, August 8, 10 a.m.-8 p.m., and Wednesday, August 9, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

 

-Childs Park Community Library, 691 43rd Street South, will be open Tuesday, August 8, 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m., and Wednesday, August 9, 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

 

-North Community Library, 861 70th Avenue North, will be open Tuesday, August 8, 10 a.m.-8 p.m., and Wednesday, August 9, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

 

-South Community Library, 2300 Roy Hanna Drive South, will be open Tuesday, August 8, 10 a.m.-8 p.m., and Wednesday, August 9, 10 a.m.-6 p.m.

 

-West Community Library, 6700 Eighth Avenue North, will be open Tuesday, August 8, 9 a.m.-6 p.m., and Wednesday, August 9, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.
