Vacations, bucket list trips, cash, and gift cards—they will all soon be easier to earn thanks to a new program by GTE Financial. The credit union has launched GTE Go Points, a new member loyalty program that offers members the chance to rack up huge rewards faster just for using its products and services.
“Finding new ways to reward our members is always top of mind. That is why we wanted to offer them a more robust loyalty program with Go Points,” says Mandy Zurbrick, Chief Marketing Officer of GTE Financial. “With the new program, members will have an array of ways to earn points and redeem them for the things that they may care about the most,” Zurbrick added.
As a not-for-profit cooperative, the more GTE earns, the more it returns to its membership. With the credit union’s new loyalty program, the more members use them, the more they get back. Go Points offers members a variety of ways to earn points from credit and debit card swipes to automatic payments, eStatements and direct deposits.
Go Points allows members to earn points by opening a GTE Home Loan, using their credit or debit card, taking out a home equity loan or line of credit, an auto loan, member referrals and much more. As they accrue points they’ll be able to take advantage of various reward redemptions such as an increase rate on Share Certificates or decrease their loan rates by .25%. Points can also be redeemed for airline tickets, hotels, cash back, gift cards, merchandise and so more.
