Tarpon Diner Under New Ownership

Watch for an exciting new menu and renovations as renowned local chef John Koch is re-establishing the Tarpon Diner, 217 S. Pinellas Ave.  Koch has a long resume as a chef and was a featured judge in a July 2016 episode of Chopped on the Food Network. The new Tarpon Diner will reflect Koch’s style of scratch cooking with fresh ingredients and bold flavors.

Welcome New Businesses!

Athens Street Cafe & Marketis now open at 610 Athens Street in the heart of the Sponge Docks, offering coffees, sandwiches, organic teas,  and more.  Irish Kelly’s, 734 S. Pinellas Ave., brings Irish hospitality and homemade Irish pub fare to the City.  The pub is hosting a grand opening Friday, August 18 with the Black Honkeys playing at 9 p.m.  Stop by these newest businesses and support our local entrepreneurs.

…And Coming Soon!

A new seafood restaurant at the entrance to the Sponge Docks is opening in September. Bumpa’s Fish Shack, 900 N. Pinellas Ave., will feature fresh seafood in a relaxed and fun atmosphere.  Watch for their opening after Labor Day.
