Tampa, Fla. – Students at Hillel Academy, the Tampa Bay area’s only accredited Jewish day school, have received top scores in the Educational Records Bureau (ERB) standardized tests, says Interim Head of School Gordon Rode.
A statistical analysis of Hillel Academy students’ scores from the test taken in May demonstrated that Hillel students in grades three through eight scored much higher than their counterparts in other private schools around the world.
Compared to students in other private schools taking this test worldwide, Hillel student scored:
- Reading Comprehension – 86th percentile
- Verbal Reasoning – 86th percentile
- Writing Mechanics – 87th percentile
- Writing Concepts & Skills – 88th percentile
- Quantitative Reasoning – 91st percentile
- Mathematics – 90th percentile
