Carrollwood Area Business Association Installs its 32nd Board of Directors

CABA President Diane Stoddart Presents a Community-Focused Vision

Tampa, (July 25, 2017) – The Carrollwood Area Business Association (CABA) introduces the members of its 32nd Board of Directors and their new 2017 – 2018 President Diane Stoddart. The annual CABA Awards & Installation Dinner will be held at Carrollwood Country Club from 5:30pm-8:30pm, Wednesday, July 26, 2017.

Immediate Past President Jeff Ryder will be presenting a video to commemorate the outgoing 2016 – 2017 Board, and his presentation will include a debut of CABA’s 2017 Taste of Carrollwood video featuring highlights of the record-setting event at George M. Steinbrenner Field.

“I honestly couldn’t be more proud of all that our outgoing Board has accomplished over the past year: a successful CABA Golf Classic that raised more than $5,000 for Operation Helping Hand; CABA’s Holiday Tree Lighting that brought together local schools, a senior center, and the Jimmie Keel Public Library to celebrate the 2016 holiday season; and the Taste of Carrollwood where more than 5000 Tampa residents enjoyed free food and family fun from over 80 vendors and 30 CABA member restaurants,” said Immediate Past President Jeff Ryder.

In addition to an awards presentation that recognizes CABA members who have gone above and beyond in 2016 – 2017, Dr. Barry Shapiro, a charter member of CABA, will be introducing CABA’s newly inducted Hall of Fame. “This year’s Hall of Fame enshrines represent members who served CABA between 1996 – 2001,” said Dr. Shapiro. He added that criteria for Hall of Fame enshrines are members who have served CABA for ten (10) or more years and have made significant leadership contributions (five or more years) serving on the Board of Directors. “It’s hard to tell the CABA story without mentioning their names,” said Shapiro.

CABA’s incoming President Diane Stoddart will be presenting her community-focused agenda for CABA during her presidency. “In addition to being the Carrollwood Area Business Association (CABA), I am challenging us to become the “Community and Businesses Aligned” CABA,” said Stoddart.
