(SARASOTA, Fla., July 18, 2017) A Success Strategies for Business Owners Meetup will offer information on “Business and Franchise Opportunities for Veterans” at Manatee Central Library on July 25.
In this session, which is open to all, Mats Bengtson, a Certified Franchise Specialist at FranNet and SCORE Certified Small Business Mentor, will discuss considerations for both independent and franchise ownership opportunities, as well as planning for business ownership and funding options. Co-presenter Lee Washington, Veterans Services Officer for Manatee County Government, will talk about business and franchise opportunities and County services available for veterans.
The Meetup is offered as part of a summer workshop series sponsored by Manasota SCORE, Manatee County Public Library Information Services, and Manatee County Economic Development Division.
The workshop will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Manatee Central Library, 1301 Barcarrota Boulevard West, Bradenton, 34205. Light refreshments will be provided by the Friends of the Central Library. The event is free, but sponsors request online registration, available at manasota.score.org.
