DAYTONA BEACH, FLA. – Two client companies in the Volusia-UCF Business Incubator – LibLob and TSO Life — recently participated in the spring 2017 Cohort of VentureScaleUp, Orlando’s high-growth business accelerator.
Connie Bernal, site manager for the Volusia-UCF Business Incubator said the two were among only eight companies chosen to be part of the eight-week program that connect them with successful entrepreneurs and investors enabling them to successfully scale their businesses.
The two Volusia County Startups are LibLob and TSOLife.
LibLob is an online rental marketplace that connects adventure sport equipment owners (business and individuals) with adventure seeking enthusiasts.
TSO Life is a social networking startup creating new and innovative ways to preserve legacy and pass down life stories for future generations.
Start ups from throughout the U.S. and some foreign countries also applied for the program, which is led by seasoned entrepreneurs, renowned experts and potential investors. The startups pitched their company to the group of investors at the end of the course on June 21.
Held at the Catalyst co-working space in downtown Orlando, VentureScaleUp provided the cohort with advanced workshops, one-on-one mentoring, and one-on-one investor meetings while they connected and collaborated with one another.
“We are extremely excited about the opportunities our two Incubator companies now have and it will drive them to the next level for their businesses by VentureScaleUp’s proven techniques which complement what we offer here at the UCF Business Incubation Program,” Bernal said.
