SharkCon is an event that brings those who love the ocean together for a weekend of education and the fun of a Comic Con. SharkCon has something for everyone who loves the ocean. We have a huge interactive exhibit from our presenting sponsor The Florida Aquarium which includes games, trivia, and a shark tooth sand dig. The Clearwater Aquarium, Shark Park, Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium, Fish and Wildlife, and the Shark Conservation from Eckerd College will have exhibits at the event. The 22 foot shark slide will be back and the pirate ship bounce house. This year there will be a pool to try scuba to give those who have never done scuba a chance to check it out. There will be 15 different activities for your kids through our nonprofit partners like Sharks4Kids, Tampa Bay Watch, and Fins Attached. Over all there will be over 30 activities all completely FREE. There are speakers this year including our headline speakers Anthony Ferrante the director of the Sharknado movies, Eli Martinez and Duncan Brake from several Shark Week specials, as well as shark scientist from the Bimini Shark lab and more. All of our speakers will also be available for FREE autographs and photo opportunities after their presentations. Everything listed above is included in the price of admission. We also have over 100 booths of vendors that are shark, ocean, conservation organizations, and our sponsors.
